Work with NASA Customer on the assignment and distribution of tasking across the team to include tracking/maintenance of System Safety Team responsibilities and information.Develop and utilize SMA-specific tools needed to assure that all applicable system safety requirements (e.g., Agency, Center, Program/Project, etc.) are identified for MSFC programs and projects.Core responsibilities include contributing to the design and development of aerospace vehicle systems and processes from a safety perspective, documenting various system safety analyses, and assisting with safety-related requirements management. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for system safety assessments for all Programs and Projects within the QD35 Vehicle System Branch of the Mission Systems Assurance for Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Directorate.
